I can accept PPO and Choice plans as an Out of Network Provider and will handle billing your insurer for you.    (If your insurer is an HMO, they will not reimburse services for out of network providers. In case you would prefer to find a psychotherapist in your insurance company's network, you might start with the website listed on the back of your insurance card. )

I do not have a formal sliding scale, but will consider  reducing my rates in special circumstances.  

 

In a first visit, I will get a sense of what is troubling you and learn something of your life experiences, while you will get some sense of my way of working.  If either of us should feel we are not a good match, for any reason, I will waive any charges and try to help you find an appropriate referral.
